Default Adding from 2 spreadsheets

I currently have 2 spreadsheets. I need to have a value from Spreadsheet B
automatically add into the value on Spreadsheet A. Is there an easy way to
do this without someone have to put in the + into the formula bar?

Default Adding from 2 spreadsheets

Do you mean can it be done without a formula? - No
Or do you mean will the formula work automatically? - Yes
In B1 of FileA: =A1+[FileB.xls]Sheet1!A1
best wishes
