attachments
when I receive an email with an excel attachment, i double click on it and
excel opens up but there is no data. If i save the attachment to desktop and try and open it i get the same result a blank spreadsheet. I know the data is there becuase if I forward the email to another user in the office they can successfully open it HELP -- Paul Reid |

Sometimes one of these works when you're having trouble with double clicking on
the file in windows explorer: Tools|Options|General|Ignore other applications (uncheck it) --- or --- Close Excel and Windows Start Button|Run excel /unregserver then Windows Start Button|Run excel /regserver The /unregserver & /regserver stuff resets the windows registry to excel's factory defaults. Anything is possible, but this has worked to fix the problem for others.
