Default "undefined" function

While creating a new Access Database query in Excel (2003), I tried to use a
query that references a Public Function I created (stored in an Access Module
in the same database as the query I'm trying to use)

Got a popup that says the function isn't defined.

Help for that popup is blank.

Do I need to copy the function to an Excel VB module?
