Yesterday my computer crashed. Installed on it I had Office Excel 2003 and I
was using Windows XP. I then purchased a new laptop that uses Windows Vista. It's already installed with a Trial "2007 Microsoft Office." Since I Already purchased the software for Excel 2003 I would rather install and use that. When I tried to install it it kept asking me to Put in my product key for Office 2007. Does Excel 2003 not compatible with Vista? -- thank you. |

Excel 2003 is certainly compatible with Vista. I have all versions of Office
from 2000 through 2007 on my Vista Ultimate machine. You might try uninstalling Office 2007 before installing Office 2003. You can then reinstall 2007 if you want. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting www.cpearson.com (email on the web site) "phrasedoctor" wrote in message ...
