Default Database Query... can't see columns

I have an access Database that I want to use with a query within Excel
(2002). When I am setting up the query, I can see the database and
the table; but when I click on the plus sign, I do not see any
columns.

I thought maybe it was security related; but I don't see anything that
would cause that.

Any ideas?
