Task Pain
Hi. Whenever Excel 2003 is opened, it shows a task pane on the right
hand of the screen. Is there any method to disable it so that it does not open each time Excel is opened? |

Hi. Whenever Excel 2003 is opened, it shows a task pane on the right
hand of the screen. Is there any method to disable it so that it does not open each time Excel is opened? Click Tools/Options on Excel's menu bar, select View tab from dialog box that appears and uncheck the "Startup Task Pane" check box in the Show section. Rick |

From the menu click TOOLS/OPTIONS. Click the VIEW tab and remove the check
from the very first check box labeled START UP PANE. -- Kevin Backmann "tc" wrote: On Aug 29, 8:26 pm, Jim Thomlinson <James_Thomlin...@owfg-Re-Move- This-.com wrote: At the very bottom of the task pane is a check box "Show at Startup".
