I have been maintaining an excel workbook for years - it is a log - that
never gets printed. Suddenly, out of the blue, I have page break dotted lines on the pages/sheets. How do I get rid of them? |

I'm guessing you have it set to view the page break preview. Try VIEW -
NORMAL. HTH, Barb Reinhardt "marcusaurelius" wrote: I have been maintaining an excel workbook for years - it is a log - that never gets printed. Suddenly, out of the blue, I have page break dotted lines on the pages/sheets. How do I get rid of them? |

I just close and re-open the WB.
If you're in the middle of something, and don't want to do that, change something in <Page Set-Up I click on "Fit To 1 Page Wide & Tall". That usually clears it. -- Regards, RD --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please keep all correspondence within the NewsGroup, so all may benefit ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "marcusaurelius" wrote in message ... Or choose ToolsOptions, and on the View tab, under Window Options,
remove the check mark from Page Breaks. Ragdyer wrote: I just close and re-open the WB. I never used, or thought about that before!<bg
Every time I'm in that window, it's unchecked by default. I guess I never went back to check after I perhaps set the print area. -- Regards, RD --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please keep all correspondence within the NewsGroup, so all may benefit ! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Debra Dalgleish" wrote in message ... Hi,
Do the following; 1. On the Tools menu, Click Options, The Options dialog is displayed. 2. Click the View tab. 3. Under the Windows option section, clear Page breaks. 4. Click Ok to return to the worksheet. Challa Prabhu "marcusaurelius" wrote: I have been maintaining an excel workbook for years - it is a log - that never gets printed.
