Default Calculated field in Pivot Table

I am having problems with a calculated field in my pivot table. I have each
persons daily time available in a column, the table averages that data for
each person, the only problem is the time is in seconds and I want to convert
it to hours. It is too cumbersome to manually change the source data
everytime I add records. My calculated field divides "available time" by
3600. Unfortunately the pivot table sums the results. I just want the
calculation. I cannot change the sum function in the table wizard. Any
ideas?

Tedd,

I am not sure that I understand. If you have a new column with the time in
hours, then you should be able to manipulate it in a pivot table like any
other column. Could you post a sample ile at http://www.mediafire.com (with a
few rows of non-confidential data) and paste the link as an answer to this
post?

Stephane Quenson.

Default Calculated field in Pivot Table

Hi Tedd,

Did you try selecting the cells, right click, format cells, Custom and pick
the relevant time format which you want?
