Hi all, I use Excel 2007 to construct a weekly schedule for where I
work. The template was passed onto me from a prior coworker, so I'm
not sure what can cause this. Basically the workbook contains 3
sheets. The first is the schedule itself, in which each day is
represented by a chart and a title. The chart contains our employees'
names at the left, with the time in 30-minute intervals at the top.
We designate time they're supposed to be here by placing an X on the
schedule under the corresponding times. All of these cells use a
"general" cell format (not 'numbers' or 'time' or anything else).

The problem I have is this. I recently have developed the need to
place more than one character in a box at a time. However, whenever I
attempt this (either by a 2-letter combination like XS, or numerical
value greater than 9), I get the following error: "Due to the new
database, you can only have one character in a time block."

Does anyone have any idea what might cause this? Thanks in advance
