Default datafilter Excel 2007

When using the datafilter in excel 2007 and changes that I make to the data,
the same changes are being made to the hidden cells. For example if I try to
delete the visable rows it deletes all of the rows. If I try to use the fill
down command it applies that formula to every cell in that column. Any and
all help is appreciated.

I assume that you mean the AutoFilter.

Firstly instead of fill down use copy and paste to visible cells method. To
do this:-

Select individual cell to copy.
Copy
Select the range to paste; but don't paste at this stage.
Click on Find & Select (far right of Home ribbon)
Go To Special
Select visible
Paste

As an added extra for you if you want to copy a range of visible cells.
Select range of cells to copy.
Click on Find & Select (far right of Home ribbon)
Go To Special
Select visible
Copy
Select the first cell of the destination
Paste

I should have included that to delete rows is basically the same.

Select rows to be deleted
Click on Find & Select (far right of Home ribbon)
Go To Special
Select visible
Delete rows
