How to stop a recurrent circular reference error message ?
I converted a spreadsheet to Excel from Quattro Pro. Whenever I open it
there is an error message about a circular reference. There is none and never has been. Nevertheless the annoying message appears every time. I finally deleted the formula and cleared all cells containing its result. Still get the circular reference error. How can I turn this off once & for all ? |

How to stop a recurrent circular reference error message ?
What version of Excel are you using? In 2007, if you click the office button
in the upper lefthand corner, choose Excel options, Formulas tab, check Enable Iterative Calculation. This should allow the circular reference.
