Default Importing data into Excel using MS Query

I am trying to help some colleagues with an Excel spreadsheet that imports
data from our ERP system. On one PC I am able to set a date criteria for the
import of the data, on the other I am not. On the €œgood€ PC the version of
MS Query being used is 8.00; on the €œbad€ PC it is version 2000. I cannot
find information as to which of these two versions is the most recent. (Both
PCs are running Excel 97 SR-2.)

Can anyone help identifying the age of the 2 versions of MS Query ?

Can anyone provide any links to web pages that may help me with MS Query /
Excel problems ?

TIA,
John.
