=If(a1=true,"x","") Replace true with your test Is this what you want? "Tom" wrote: I am working on a VERY LONG spreadsheet. The only problem is when i populate data (living document), it is all done manually. Is there a way to Find something in column A if TRUE type "x" in column G. Much like find and replace but not for ONE cell at a time. I need to look for varialble in column 'A' and if it matches input goes in column G. thanks for any help. I am starting to think Excel can't do this. Thanks again. |
