Default how can you hyper link adobe reader files into excel


im trying to link a networked library into a wksht index in excel. the
problems i have is pdf files wont link and the word docs i can link but when
i edit the hyperlink name to display it will not open the document. it will
just show you the file that it is in. any ideas?

and yes adobe reader stinks....

Foxit Reader is far superior to Adobe reader and is free...

I switched to it after the tech editor at the Washington Post recommended it.

"List Files" an Excel add-in (from yours truly) is "almost" free and may help.
Performance on a network can vary...
