Default Workbook attachements

Is there a way to attach files to an Excel workbook? For example, I have a
customer issue report that I want to attach a PDF to. Is that possible? Or
link the 2 files somehow.

Thanks in advance for the input and advice.

See InsertObjectCreate from file which does not embed but links to the file
and updates if the PDF is changed.

Also InsertObject and scroll down to PDF document.

Or for actual embedding see InsertObject and scroll down to "Package"

Hi,

Do the following:

1. Open a the Excel Workbook.
2. Click a cell in the Worksheet.
3. On the Insert menu, click Object. The Object dialog is displayed.
4. In the Object dialog box, click the Create from File tab.
5. In the File name text box, type the file name with the path or Click the
Browse button to select the file from your local machine.
6. Click any file (for example: any PDF file).
7. If the Link to File and Display ICon check boxes appears cleared, retain
those settings.
8. Click OK to return to the Active worksheet. You will notice the first
page of the PDF file is displayed in the worksheet. Adjust the size to your
requirement.
9. If you double-click the object, the Pdf file opens in the Adobe Acrobat
window. and the Inserted object now appears as hashed (checked). This
indicates that the inserted object is opened. If you close the file, the hash
disappears in the excel worksheet.
