Hi,
I have a question about applying borders in cells (Excel 2003, Win XP pro). I am having problems putting a border on cells that have conditional formatting applied to it. I have tried different colours and sizes. I format the border with a different colour and size of line and I can see it on the screen. I go to print preview and it is not there. I go and print it out and it is not there. Also, if I go to the next empty cell beside it (with no conditional formatting) and try and put a border on this empty cell, the border will not work. Any suggestions on what to do next and/or try next would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Brian. |

the default for conditional formatting is no borders, when stting the
formats, choose the second tab "Borders" and select the one you want, i'll bet that fixes ya. -- -John Please rate when your question is answered to help us and others know what is helpful. Hey, that worked! Thank you very much.
Is there a way to apply a border without changing the conditional formatting? Or, is that the only way. Brian.
