i had a very basic spreadsheet using excel 2003 that i was saving as a web
page, uploading it in my yahoo file manager to use as a web page. the same
spreadsheets are now saved in the 2007 version, but when i save them as a web
page and upload them now, all i get when i try and view them is the web page
opening up witha message 'sorry the page you requested was not found. the
solution is probably simple, but when it comes to computers, so am i

Check the filename that it was given when you used save as web page. Look at
the last portion, it may be .mht instead of .htm, or .html instead of .htm so
when you go looking for it under it's previous name it isn't found.

ok thanks, i think i know what your getting at. i checked the properties of
the files thet are saved as a HTML doc, and if i remember correctly with 2003
the saved as htm and i had to convert them when i uploaded. but i dont where
to go from here. how do i save the documents so they can be read on my web
page.
