Default How do I permanently change the Microsoft Office author?

The person who was previously in my current position entered her name in the
"author" section in microsoft office properties, each program automatically
enters her name there, and I was wondering how to get rid of it.

To make it permanent the OP would have to do that in a Book.xlt template in
the XLStart folder or the alternate startup folder.
