What do you mean by size:
Prior to XL2007, 256 columns and 65536 rows. "xavi garriga" wrote: Hi to all; I'm new in this forum. I use excel usually at work and I need to know how could I know the size of each sheet. Thanks to all; -- atrep |

How can I know the size of each sheet
Sorry I didn't specify my question enough, with size I mean "memory" (bytes).
Thanks -- atrep "Toppers" wrote: What do you mean by size: Prior to XL2007, 256 columns and 65536 rows. "xavi garriga" wrote: Hi to all; I'm new in this forum. I use excel usually at work and I need to know how could I know the size of each sheet. Thanks to all; -- atrep |

How can I know the size of each sheet
Just a general "feel" for relative size:
Save each sheet as a new workbook. Open explorer and look at the sizes. There's overhead for each workbook (varies depending on the version of excel), but you could just save a workbook with a single empty worksheet to see that overhead. xavi garriga wrote: Sorry I didn't specify my question enough, with size I mean "memory" (bytes). How can I know the size of each sheet
Thanks,
I thought about this option, but I didn't do because there are lots of links between sheets and I didn't know if it would affect a lot. However, I'll do this solution. -- atrep "Dave Peterson" wrote: Just a general "feel" for relative size: Save each sheet as a new workbook. Open explorer and look at the sizes.
