Hello
Im puzzled why re-opening Excel file created from an Access 97 query takes MINUTES to re-open. The query produces 40,925 records that I directly export into Excel. I can open the newly created file and then I sort and create subtotals on the data. I re-save and close. When I try to re-open, the file will get to about 50% (reading the bar chart as it opens) and just sits there. I then tried to copy the data from Access and paste into an Excel file. While Im typing this, Ive continued to let Excel attempt the open and it finally has opened, but its taking minutes to open. Does anyone have any solutions for getting this to open faster? |
