Default Copying Labels in Subtotals

When subtotaling, Excel lists the value (i.e. text) of the field that is
summed followed by the word "Total", but what if another column has the exact
same text in it as the field that is summed and you want it to copy down to
the row that has the words "such n such Total". Is there a way to do that?

In the example below the words "Chesterfield" & "Florissant" copy down to
the row with the word "Total" in it because I manually copied them. Anyone
now how to get the following result automagically? I tried it with a Macro
that does Edit Find for the word Total the goes over one cell and insert
=the above cell, but the cell references are exact references rather than
generic so it wouldn't work with a totally different file.

EXAMPLE:
BIRD STORE# LOCATION COST
Parrot 35 Chesterfield 1399
Amazon 35 Chesterfield 899
Amazon 35 Chesterfield 1299
Conure 35 Chesterfield 399
35 Total Chesterfield 3996
Lovebird 36 Florissant 75
Lovebird 36 Florissant 75
36 Total Florissant 150
