Default Lookup the last alpha numeric value in a column

How do I look up the last alpha numeric value in a column? I can get the last
numerical value just not the alpha numerical one. Can someone help?

Default Lookup the last alpha numeric value in a column

Try this:

=LOOKUP(REPT("Z",255),A:A)

Assumes there are no formula blanks (empty TEXT strings) within the range.
