Default I want to make a weekend schedule without duplication of names

I am using Microsoft Office Excel 2003.
I want to make a weekend schedule of events showing people responsible for
duties, and not have a person repeated for any of the duties.

do you want to do the selection randomly?
do you want the list to be automatic? or
do you want to select the people and be notified if you are repeating?
How many people and how many jobs?
any other criteria?
