Default web data converted to Excel

How do I convert mass data such as address lists into Excel? I have lost my
info from doing this before and realize it is not a simple copy and paste
operation. Thanks

Your question leaves many interpretations.

You copy and paste then manipulate into the order you want.

Manipulation depends upon how the dat is pasted into Excel.
