Automatically look in template folder when one opens a template
When saving a workbook and choosing Template in the Save As Type box, Excel
will automatically change the Save In folder to the one designated for templates -- a good feature. My suggestion: It would be nice if the Excel will automatically change the Look In folder when one specifies Template in the File of Type box, when opening a template for editing. I would not advise going to File -- New... to easily open a template; it will open it as a new workbook, not as a template. That's a bad habit for editing templates, because one may inadvertantly overwrite another template when saving. Better to open the template itself, and press the save button to save the template at its correct location. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes.
