Combining paragraphs but preserving spaces
My database programmer recently provided me my database of letters in
spreadsheet format. Many of the letters have paragraphs that in their original application were separated by a blank line. When the letters from the db were downloaded to excel the paragraphs appeared in separate cells, for example, 'Dear XXX' appeared in one cell, then a cell was skipped, then the beginning of the first paragraph appeared in the third cell. When the first paragraph ended, there was another blank cell before the second paragraph began, etc. I wish to combine all the text into one cell, but to preserve the space that appears between the paragraphs, represented now by the empty cells. Does anyone have a suggestion? Hope to hear from you soon. |
