Default if not empty, not a formula?

conditional format works if not ="" or AC5<"" but if a formula
returning a null is present, then that does not work. what do you enter if
there is a formula present :) thanks.

Default if not empty, not a formula?

try counta(a1)=1
counta() counts functions resulting in "".
countblank
