Default remove data connection

I have two data connections that populate my worksheets. I would like the
ability to remove the connections while keeping the data that was downloaded
intact. If I simply delete the connections once the data has bee refreshed
and then save the file, the next time that I open it, there is no data. I am
sure that I am overlooking something simple but I can't seem to find it. I
am using 2007..

Thank all!
