Default Installation error, file not found

I bought my HP Pavilion with the Microsoft Office Standard Edition already
installed on my computer. I am not sure what I did, but now when I try to get
into Excel, it tries to configure it, but it says installation error, file
not found. Word works, but not excel.
I have tried to restore, repair, and nothing works.

Maybe it's time to get the Excel distribution CD (or the MSOffice distribution
CD) and reinstall???
