I have a worksheet that is importing a table of currencies and their
conversion factors from a database using the Import External Data feature. The euro and pound symbols have an extra character attached and the euro symbol has been transformed in some manner. Here is what I get: euro = ‚¬ pound = £ When you go into the Edit Web Query option, the data is retrieved correctly without the additional symbol and the euro looks fine. I am aware of the problem with small fonts. I have set the zoom to 100% and played with the Font and pitch but no luck. How can I retrieve the euro symbol correctly as well as eliminate the extra character? |
