We were working in a class and 3 of the 22 people in class lost their scroll
bars and the sheet tabs at the bottom of their worksheet. The left side of
the screen has a grey rectangular area - kind of looks like a small blank
grey task panel. Can anyone tell us how to correct this?

check to see if the tabs and scroll bar options are visible.
(tools/options/view). In the window options and show option make sure they
are checked. Don't know if this is the problem though

Thanks! I will ask them to try that and let you know if it works. Do you know
what they did to cause them to disappear?
