Recovering previous version file name
I have recently been renaming large groups of files. I had not realized that
I had selected all the files when renaming. Now I have: Name (1), Name (2), etc. Is there a way to recover the previous names of the files I did not want to rename? |

Recovering previous version file name
In Windows Explorer (that is where I assume you renamed the files) there is an Undo command on the Edit menu. Depending on what other things you have done, since the rename, it might work. -- Jim Cone San Francisco, USA http://www.realezsites.com/bus/primitivesoftware (Excel add-ins) "joshuabrown97" wrote in message I have recently been renaming large groups of files.
