Hi Kerry

the caret ^ is usually used to represent Power as in 2^2 is raising 2 to
the Power of 2 or 2 Squared = 4
2^3 would be 8 etc.

three squared = nine
2^3
Two cubed = eitht

=3^2

or
equipvalent formula
=POWER(3,2)
