After upgrading to 2007 I can no longer use the short cut Ctrl and the + on
the keyboard by the numbers I have to use the + above the letters. Is there a setting I have to make before I can use the + out to the left next to the numers on the keyboard. It's to make a new row. It was so handy as the right and is allways on the number section of the keyboard. -- LTJ |

Has something has remapped your keyboard? This is not the way XL2007
behaves. Pressing CTRL and + (on the numeric keyboard) inserts a new line is in XL 2003 and XL2007 (A shortcut I had forgotten - many thanks for the reminder) The + on the top line of the 'typewriter' part of the keyboard has no effect on my PC. best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "LTJ" wrote in message ... Bernard
FYI Provided I select the row number then Control with either the numeric or "typewriter" + Inserts a new line for me. If in a cell, then both give me the opportunity to Insert a cell. -- Regards Roger Govier "Bernard Liengme" wrote in message ... Has something has remapped your keyboard? Silly me! I had forgotten to hold down SHIFT to get + on the top row keys (I
always use the number keypad +) best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "Roger Govier" wrote in message ... Thanks for your answer. But I've tried using an old keyboard still the same
problem. The keyboard settings on the PC are the same (I have my old PC still with Excel 2002). But I've now noticed that others have had problems with other shortcuts in the danish version of Excel, and we use danish, so maybe it's a general problem. For now I guess we just have to use the plus sign on the part of the keyboard by the numbers. -- LTJ "Bernard Liengme" wrote: Silly me!
