Hello,
I am running Office 2007 at our office. I have set all computers to default save as Office 97-2003 (comp. mode). When we A.) open attachments of previous versions to 2007 or B.) open a document regular, as long as Excel is not already open, it opens, HANGS FOREVER. The only workaround, as annoying as it is, is to minimize the Excel window and maximize it. When you do that, BANG, it opens. If you don't, it sits there for decades. It's like it is loading the data just fine, but it just can't render it to the screen, and the window alteration is what triggers this. Looks like a bug to me! Anybody know any fixes for this? My users don't like it, even though there is a workaround, and I don't blame them! Thanks in advance, Eric D. |
