Default Function display

Hello,

I have a function in a cell that doesn't calculate the value. Instead, I see
the function definition.
How do I change this to display the calculated value?

Just the one cell?

Was pre-foramtted as text.

Change to General then F2 and ENTER

You're right, it was formatted as text. However, after changing to General
and pressing F2 it didn't change.

Did you select the troublesome cell, format it as general, then hit F2, then
Enter--in that order?

I'd try it once more.

Did you press ENTER after F2?
