A calculated item gives unwanted changes to my pivot table
I am rephrasing an earlier question. I have a pivot table with fields:
Tenant Category (e.g. Clothing, Gifts, etc); Tenant Name (StarBucks, Woolworths, etc); Turnover (data); Year (2006, 2007 - in row fields); Month (Jan, Feb, Mar, etc - in column Fields). When I insert a calculated item in the Year field calculating year on year growth in turnover for each tenant for each month column it takes VERY long to calculate and it lists ALL the tenants in each category irrespective of whether that tenant belongs to that category or not and shows values (error values for non-applicable tenants) for ALL tenants under each category. Can this be fixed? |
