Default AutoFilter defect or my mistake?

Thanks. I suspected as much, and I should have tested that hypothesis
first. But I thought my example with Custom selection was "proof"
enough. Sigh, I guess not!

FYI, if the selected AutoFilter range has __two__ blank rows, then the
sort fails altogether with an error (pop-up).
