Does anyone know how to test for current stack space "being used" vs. total
stack space "available" in Excel, as well as "total memory available" vs. "the current memory being used" (all in terms of Excel's allotments given and Excel's restrictions put in place as maximum's in these regards)? I have Excel 2003 Pro, it limits you to 1 gig of RAM for example, regardless of what you have on your server. My server has 2 gig's, hosting 30 users via Citrix Metaframe. I'm about to add 40 more users, I'm wondering if I will crash due to any of the above criteria being exceeded (or any other relevant criteria I am not aware of). I'm also wondering if each user running their own insteance of the workbooks in Excel as "read only" EACH get 1 gig of memory, or if ALL USERS PERIOD are limited to "1 gig total" aggregately while all on my server? Thank You, Matt |
