Is there a way that you can mark a column so when you view it on screen it
will display however when you print it - it will not print?

Check out ViewCustom Views

You can have many views of the same sheet.

Add one for printing only.

Alternative is VBA Before_Print code which would hide the column, print, then
unhide.
