Validation Cell Always Visiable, with a default message in it...
Hopefully a very simple matter...
Let's say I have a validation list in cell A1. All I want is for the cell (A1) to have a default message in it all the time (for example, "<Click Here to Make Selection"), and for the down pointing arrow of the list to always be showing. Is this possible? |

Why not just insert a new row 1 and put those instructions in A1 so that they
point at A2? cdavidson wrote: Hopefully a very simple matter... Let's say I have a validation list in cell A1. Sorry - don't have the luxury of the space to do so on the actual report I'm
developing. "Dave Peterson" wrote: Why not just insert a new row 1 and put those instructions in A1 so that they point at A2? cdavidson wrote: Hopefully a very simple matter... Wow. It's too bad you're using all 64k rows (or 1m rows in xl2007).
I don't know a way of doing what you want. cdavidson wrote: Sorry - don't have the luxury of the space to do so on the actual report I'm developing.
