Default Excel 2007 Enabling Macros

I have a user on Excel 2007 working in spreadsheet with macros (simple sort
buttons), i have set the macros to be enabled in: MS Office Button/Excel
Options/Trust Centre/Trust Centre Settings/Macro Settings/Macro Security,
however, this is not staying. It is ok for the then and now, however user
closes and reopens the spreadsheet and the same happens, a message appears
asking to set the macros to enable and she has to do this each time. Please
can anyone tell me how to set this permanently and if there are low/med/high
settings in Office 2007 for macro security. Thanks.

you can save the macro file as VBA add ins with the extension .xla and go to
Tools menu select Add Ins..., browse the macro file and check the file name,
the macros are avaible in all the open workbooks.

One feature that the trust center offers is Trusted Locations - if you
identify a folder (or several folders) to be Trusted Locations, you should
not be prompted to enable macros within Excel files opened from those
locations. This works - I use it myself. Key point here is not to put an
Excel file into one of those locations until you DO trust it and know the
macros to be safe to use.

Office Button - Excel Options - Trust Center - [Trust Center Settings]
button - then Trusted locations in the list in the left hand panel.

I have tried this and get the following message: 'The remote or network path
you have entered is not allowed by your current security settings'.

Any ideas on where i may change the security settings...

Thanks, Ang.
