Default DARKENING HIGHLIGHTED CELLS

HOW DO I DARKEN THE HIGHTLIGHTED CELLS IN EXCEL 2007? WHEN CUTTING &
COPYING, I AM UNABLE TO TELL WHAT DATA I HAVE SELECTED, BECAUSE IT IS TO
LIGHT A COLOR?

I'm having the same problem....did anyone respond?
