Default Cell Format import from Database

Using v.2003. Everytime I "!Refresh Data" in a pivot table report, some
columns loose their format. I have to manually format these cells by
selecting every cell and "PASTE SPECIAL,MULTIPLY by 1". Is there a better way?
Thanks.

Put your cursor somewhere inside the Data Range.
Select...
DataImport Export DataData Range Properties...
In the 'Data Formatting & Layout' area, make sure that the 'Preserve Cell
Formatting' check box is checked.
