I have embedded a word document in one of my Excel worksheets. This is a
protected document with text form fields that can still be filled in. However, we just discovered that when you "edit" the word document in Excel as opposed to "open" it, you cannot use your backspace key or your arrow keys in the text field. You can use your mouse to click in the field, but that's not ideal. It seems to work fine if you "open" it since that actually launches the Word application. Does anyone know why this is and how to get around it in Excel? There are several other worksheets in this workbook that are in Excel so we embedded the word document to keep all the information together. -- Thanks |
