Default Problems with functions made in different languagues

Hello Dears,

We have received a plan with some of formulas and functions, but some of
them does not work only in my computer.
Details: My computer have Office in portuguese. The other computer has the
Office in english.

It could be a few things.

Can you post the formula and the version of excel that you're using?

There are some functions that are in the analysis toolpak in some versions of
excel. And that addin has to be turned on (tools|addins).

I don´t know exactly the formulas, because the plan is protected, but you
are right, it is functions in the analysis toolpak. My excel is 2003. There
are something that I can do, or the person that create the file can do?

You could turn on the analysis toolpak via tools|addins.

But I don't know enough about international issues to know if this will be
sufficient.

You may have to close and reopen your workbook to see the results.
