Hi Dan,
Go to Pivot Table options and uncheck the Autoformat Table option (make sure that Preserve Formatting remains checked). Ed Ferrero www.edferrero.com "Dan" wrote in message ... Help! I also have the same problem. I am using the AutoFormat to create the "look"
of the pivot table and everytime I refresh it changes my columns. I tried the suggestion below of uncheck AutoFormat Table and keep Preserve Formatting checked. It then saves the column widths but "erases" the formatting previously used by the Autoformat. Is there any way I can have my cake and eat it too? Thanks! Hi shaunap,
I also have the same problem. I am using the AutoFormat to create the "look" of the pivot table and everytime I refresh it changes my columns. Is there any way I can have my cake and eat it too? If you use AutoFormat, then the Auto Format checkbox is checked by default. So the column widths will change automatically. Only thing I can suggest is to turn on the macro recorder, refresh the pivot table, then resize the column widths to what you want, then turn off the recorder. Assign the resultant macro to a button on the sheet next to the pivot table and use this to refresh the pt. Ed Ferrero www.edferrero.com |
