HELP!!! #VALUE! Error
I wrote this formula because I was receiving a #DIV/0 error (my divisor was 0
sometimes and this was the only way I could get to 0: =IF(AD6=0,"0",AE6/AD6*AD7) problem is, when I'm adding each of the cells some which have a number, some which returned a 0, I am now getting a #VALUE! error. Please anyone! HELP! |

HELP!!! #VALUE! Error
Your formula =IF(AD6=0,"0",AE6/AD6*AD7) put the zero in a text
Change it to =IF(AD6=0,0,AE6/AD6*AD7) By the way, it might help to write this as =IF(AD6=0,0,AE6*AD7/AD6) to make it more clear what is going on. Someone who is less familiar with order of precedence might think you are computing AE6/(AD6*AD7) best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "kimberly_churchill" wrote in message ...
