Default Displaying Page Titles For Urls

Hello,

I use a long list of URLs in an Excel 2007 workbook and would like to
display the page title for each URL in the list.
For example, if the URL is http://www.nytimes.com/ I'd like Excel to extract
the page title from the web and display "The New York Times - Breaking News,
World News & Multimedia".

How can this be done?

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

If you use the Insert|Hyperlink|Browsed Pages command you get the description. Of course you'll have to have browsed to that page
first

Hello again,

I think what's needed is some kind of a formula or automatic process since,
as I've mentioned, I already have a long list of URLs and it's quite
unfeasible to manually re-insert each and every one of them.

Thanks,
David
