Default Cell colours not showing

I am using Excel 2003 and when I change the colour of a cell, it does not
show the colour on screen. I have tried this on other users PCs and the
colour appears.

If this is a problem with all Excel files with coloured cells, the Windows OS
high contrast setting may be turned on. There is information in the
following MSKB article:
